Icom IC-M605EURO VHF/DSC Radio with AIS Receiver
The IC-M605EURO is a Class D fixed VHF/DSC radio for a helm that needs a larger display and optional multi-station control. Its 4.3-inch colour TFT combines radio information with received AIS traffic, including direct individual DSC calling to a selected AIS target.
Onboard communication
- Integrated AIS receiver and GNSS receiver, with the supplied UX-241 GNSS antenna and 5 m cable.
- Connect up to three optional RC-M600 command heads and/or HM-229 CommandMic controllers.
- Active noise cancellation and automatic storage of the last two minutes of received audio.
- NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183/-HS connectivity.
- 30 W two-way hailer and automatic foghorn functions with an optional compatible horn speaker.
- IPX8 protection specified at 1 m depth for 60 minutes.

Installation and safe use
Programme the correct vessel MMSI and meet UK ship-radio licensing and operator-certificate requirements. Observe the manufacturer’s antenna/RF-exposure separation, installation and fuse requirements. AIS receiver data is advisory, does not transmit your own vessel identity and cannot replace a proper lookout.
Manufacturer warranty
Icom UK’s standard marine warranty is one year from purchase for manufacturing, mechanical and material defects. This exact radio is eligible for the optional three-year total leisure warranty after online registration of model, serial number, purchase date and dealer, with confirmation from Icom UK. Commercial users, charter fleets, sailing schools, yacht clubs and other organisations are excluded from the extension. Accessories remain one year. Coverage applies to eligible Icom UK authorised-dealer supply used in the UK, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland or Southern Ireland. Improper installation/use, abuse, unauthorised repair/parts/modification, altered serial numbers, overvoltage, corrosive damage, negligence, accidents and natural disasters are excluded.
