Description
A 6-foot solid-state radar and pedestal package with 120 W transmit power and a maximum range of 96 nautical miles.
Radar scanner package only. A compatible Garmin chartplotter is required and is not included. A heading sensor, sold separately, is required for MARPA. Mounting and commissioning must follow Garmin instructions.
MotionScope uses Doppler processing to highlight moving targets. Pulse compression, dual-range viewing and adjustable target presentation help organise radar information on a compatible Garmin chartplotter.

Manufacturer warranty
Two-year Garmin standard marine consumer limited warranty for eligible UK/EMEA purchases, beginning with the original retail purchase. Limited cover for defects in materials or workmanship during normal use. Garmin decides repair or replacement. Keep dated proof of purchase and obtain return authorisation. Customer transport costs and policy exclusions apply. Onboard labour and travel are not included in the standard consumer warranty. Incorrect installation and unauthorised repairs are excluded. Statutory rights are unaffected.
Installation and safety
Have a qualified marine installer follow the specified mounting position, beam-clearance distances, power supply and fuse requirements. Do not look directly at a transmitting antenna at close range. Keep people clear of the radar beam and moving array, where fitted. Update chartplotter software during installation. Radar is a navigation aid, not a substitute for a proper lookout or independent checks.
